A Boosted story should ge 500 views within two weeks of boosting. That holds true in my experience. If it gets a high enough read ratio, it will keep being boosted, and could get into the thousands, yes. Or it may unexpectedly get a second spike a month later, adding to its initial 500. All my boosted pieces have made it to 500, then mostly tailed off, with a couple getting close to the 1000 mark. Earnings of 30 to 90 bucks at varying rates per read.
