Absolutely. It took me a little while of just writing reflective, observational stuff before I dared to write anything actually labelled 'humour', as by doing so you're making a claim - 'I'm a funny guy - I can make you laugh'. But it seemed to go OK.

And then I wrote my first fiction in decades, followed by a little poetry (ditto).

I just follow my feet.
