Again, I've seen this suggested several times in several similar forms, and it exists on Mastodon as well.

But no argument from Medium as to why it wouldn't or couldn't work.

They must know people want it - it would be good to see them categorise it as:

a) Impossible/undesirable because...

b) Actively being considered

c) In the pipeline - expected [quarter, year] once dev resources are available
