Also, many pubs - and all of the snooty, arsey, 'I think I'm the New York Times' ones - insist on 'title case', so unless you adopt it universally, you will have to switch back and forth, if you write for any of those snooty, arsey, up-themselves pubs (which I don't).

Plus, some of them - despite their snooty arsiness - get it wrong anyway (capitalising everything, including prepositions and articles), thus requiring third and more versions.

I agree that it's more trouble than it's worth, and sentence case is less ambiguous and consistent, but feel that many like title case because it somehow feels more 'professional' and so ennobles their blog posts.
