An interesting take on the Polidori story, Jaime. Coincidentally I was thinking about Ken Russell's Gothic that tells its own version of that retreat just yesterday. Someone had posted Henry Fuseli's Nightmare to illustrate a point on Substack, which reminded me of the film poster image based on that.

At least Polidori got to be played by the incomparable Timothy Spall!
