Certainly my last two have really underperformed, as if it's already being spread too thin. Though in both cases there could be intrinsic reasons: one just wasn't all that, and I as an editor wouldn't even have nommed it. The other was quite literary fiction, which is hard to get a decent read ratio on, and so I think the algo just starts downgrading its priority if its ratio is low in the first week.

But all the plans and the reality seem hard to reconcile, that's for sure.
