Galicia would certainly be a change of vibe from Andalucia! I lived in Ferrol for two years - back in the days when the statue of Franco on horseback still stood in the Plaza de Armas, and would (quite rightly) be regularly be splattered with eggs and red paint by the local youths. They tried to blow it up once, I believe. It's now been officially removed.

The most beautiful - and meaningful - coast in the world, for me.
