Glad you liked it, Ben. It all came out a mention of Seneca in another story by Smillew Rahcuef the other day, who everyone thinks of as Roman, without usually realising that he was born in 'Spain', and is seen as one of Cordoba's famous sons as well as Rome's. Which got me thinking about Boadicea - I had no idea there was this direct connection between them at the time of the Iceni rebellion - the wonders of Wikipedia!
