Happy Anniversary, Zivah!

I love the flow of this, the balance of personal and 'political', not that it should ever even need to be seen as a matter of 'politics'.

Spanish has a word 'reinvindicativo', not at all elegant in itself, but highly expressive and difficult to translate into English. 'Campaigning' is sometimes used, or 'assertive'. I quite like 'proclamatory'. It is often contrasted with or used to nuance 'político' per se, and means stating, asserting, demanding one's rights, drawing a line in the sand for all society to see. Not as a matter of politicking, but personal or collective dignity and recognition. (Apologies if you speak Spanish and already know this.)

Anyway, that is what I mean by 'political'.
