Hi, Andrew - I'm Matthew Clapham, editor of the newly founded Iberospherical publication. I just came across your profile via the claps on yesterday's piece by Natalie S. Ohio, and thought it seemed interesting. I recently did some translations in my day job about coffee-growing, and found it fascinating - all the different techniques, microclimates, climate adaptation.
As you are involved in dealing directly with growers in Honduras and telling their stories, would you be interested in joining the pub as a writer? It would be great to have these stories and any others about the society and economy of Latin America.
We were recently added to the Boost Pilot Program, and I feel that given the human, personal angle of these pieces, and your professional expertise and experience in the agricultural sector, there would be real potential for this kind of content being selected - though as we know it's all a little unpredictable.
In any event, it would be great to have you on board if you are interested. The pub is at https://medium.com/iberospherical if you want to take a look.
I usually check the pub inbox several times a day, so respond to writers promptly and aim to publish within a day, although I am on European time (UTC+1), so there will always be a slight lag.
Let me know if you are interested, and I will add you so you can send stuff in whenever you have anything suitable.
Kind regards,
Matthew
