Hi, Mario - it's a long time since I lived in London, but this sounds interesting, along with all other Latin elements of the city's melting pot. I sometimes wonder what happened to the 'Little Latin America' on the top floor of the Elephant and Castle shopping centre when that was bulldozed for redevelopment (I think?).
I was wondering if you might be interested in being added as a writer at my publication Iberospherical (https://medium.com/iberospherical). It would be great to feature your stories of life in Cuba and then the move to London and your perceptions of how Latin American culture exists and interacts there.
I have a feeling that there would be a great deal of eye-opening insights for readers in the USA in particular, who are familiar with Miami and New York as the adopted home of the Latin diaspora, but maybe tend to have more of a tourist's 'double decker bus and bowler hat' image of London.
But really any aspect of your experience would probably fit into the editorial range I'm aiming to cover at the pub.
If you have time to take a look at the stories featured there, and feel you would like to contribute, then just reply here or on the submissions page and I will add you. I always aim to check for incoming stories several times a day, and to publish or schedule the same day. The pub is now part of the Boost Pilot programme, so potential boosts I would normally discuss with the writers for any fine-tuning, then nominate in draft form, and put live after Curation have given their verdict.
Anyway, let me know if you're interested.
Kind regards,
Matthew
