Hi, Rodrigo. I have to say I'm not a huge Dylan fan, and feel there are loads of lyricists worthier of being given a Nobel prize, though I appreciate that was just a headline-grabbing bit of trolling by the committee.

One line I do particularly like, from Tangled Up In Blue, for its density of metaphorical meaning is

We drove that car as far as we could, abandoned it out west.

The whole sense of life as a naive attempt to escape the inevitable, pursue a hopeless dream.

A guy I was at school with studied English Literature at university and did his final dissertation on Bob Dylan - I guess he was delighted at the Nobel thing. Maybe got a research bursary or book deal out of it!
