I actually enjoyed Latin, but then languages are my thing, and I loved the classical studies side that went with it as well. But certainly not to everyone's taste, useful as it is as a base for subsequent study of other more immediately relevant European languages. Then again, you could just study them straight off and cut out the intermediary.
