I do think that anything that Medium can do to make itself 'the thinking person's, slower-paced Twitter' makes sense.

I've never done Twitter, because I always found it a bit of a messy blur, which is why my aging Gen X brain has taken a shine to Medium.

But I reckon that even people that do are probably now wearying not only of the all the Musk filth, but the sheer volume and pace.

This feature would also mean you could make shortform posts about current issues without going via a pub, and know they would get to the people in your social circle.

Unless the bastards had unsuperfollowed you, of course.
