I don't see that as a problem here - if groups are comment-for-commenting each other's pieces anyway, they don't need to have them boosted to one another - they must already be sharing titles as they are posted.

In any event, you could limit it to x stories per day/week just as nommers are now capped at 30 Boosts per month.

And as the Boost only applies to those who have chosen you as a Scout, you can't 'infect' the general feed, whereas standard Boosts make a given story more likely to be seen by everyone.

But seamless integration as a user-transparent modification of an individual's personal feed would probably require greater dev resources than are currently available.
