I hadn't even noticed this, TzeLin. I've got the same message. This is obviously a lie, since all 'tax documents' were dealt with on initial sign-up. I haven't since them been asked to submit any tax paperwork, nor have I voluntarily done so.

If any 'tax documents' were filed late, that can only have been Medium's own accounts department screwing up whatever formalities they need to fulfil annually with the IRS.

But the wording suggests that we made the error and so must suffer the consequences.
