I just don't submit to those pubs. If it's a booster, and they have that volume, you're wasting your time, as you are chasing 20 slots out of nearly 2000/month.

If it isn't a booster, doubly so.

I only submit to non-boosting pubs if they are run by Medium friends these days. And only to lower volume boosters with sound editorial practices.

I find there are plenty of those not to bother with the riff-raff.
