I remember reading a while back that one way to alleviate jetlag is to begin shifting your main meal time by an hour a day over a week or so to match up with when you would be eating in your destination.

Supposedly your gut has a big impact on how your brain positions itself chronologically, so if you kid it into thinking dinner time is 8 am or whatever, when you shift time zone, your body won't find it such a shock.

Never actually tried it myself.
