I seem to remember that 'merci' was also used in Turkey for 'thank you'. Thank you very much was (phonetically) 'chock merci'. This was nearly 30-odd years ago, so I may be misremembering.

'Küçük' was small, 'büyük' big? Or the other way round. In case your phone dies on you or just feels inappropriate.

Bir, iki, uch, durt, besh (phonetically again) for 1-5, I think. That's about all I can offer.
