I suspect most of us are tempted. For me - and for many, I believe - the question is whether we can be bothered to invest the start-up time and effort to get to an initial baseline on Substack equivalent to what we have already created on this platform and in this community, especially as the whole mechanism on SS (an abbreviation that serves as an unpleasant reminder of their willingness to host far-right content, which I'm not sure they have fully addressed...) is different in terms of how you make your presence known.
I'd do it if I were retired. As a frustrating, unexpected and unnecessary (if Medium worked properly) exercise in redoing the same work from scratch, I find it hard to convince myself.
