I used to have a miniature Moleskine knock-off one, with the knicker elasticloop to hold it closed, and the pleated pocket at the end.

Which actually served a function: it was just the right size to hold one of those stubby little pencils you can steal in vast quantities from: Ikea!

There's clearly some kind of deep-rooted link between pocketable notebooks, stealable pencils, and flatpack Scandi furniture.

I first discovered that crispy onion stuff at Ikea, and have had a low-grade addiction to it ever since. I don't think it would keep well in the pleated notebook pocket, however.
