I wonder what alien life forms would make of our civilisation if a Super Bowl broadcast was the first signal they received from Planet Earth (as opposed to a Hitler rally, which supposedly was the first TV signal capable of breaking through the atmosphere into space)?

I guess between the two of them they'd have a pretty accurate idea.

No wonder we don't get many visitors.

Or those we do get are wild-eyed crazies who crash their flying saucers straight into the Nevada desert.
