I'd forgotten the Czechia thing - good spot. But it really doesn't seem to be catching on. India, as by far the largest country with English as an official language, is an interesting case. Populist autocrats fiddling with country names to impose their stamp again!

India effectively owns the sport of cricket now, by sheer dint of numbers and money. I wonder if the same will happen over time with the English language. And it will be the Indian Academy of English Language Usage that sets the rules.
