I'm not sure that Sharethrough is really geared to Medium content, or even news. It seems to be intended more for brands posting puff pieces to their social media platforms to generate traffic into their 'sales funnel'.
And it seems to have some very odd ideas about how changes to a headline would improve it.
Another thing is that it seems to invite longer headlines, whereas the Medium interface on a mobile cuts the title off after just a few words, so a shorter, or two-part, colon- or dash-separated title is likely to make more sense.
That may be why ChyatGPT always produces headlines in the format 'brief summary of thing: slightly longer indication of angle taken on thing'.
Which in turn is a giveaway on Medium. If all headlines with a colon were automatically flagged for AI checking and removal, you could get rid of the majority of such content. Until the AI-posters refined their strategy, that is.
