In a way, we have all already read and re-read all stories ever written since the archetypes were first laid down in ancient mythology.

There are indeed significant resemblances to the structure of Zarathustra, and references to Aesop and other tales of Greek mythology, as well as Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet, Henry van Dyke's The Other Wise Man...

Also, of course, as the New Testament, which is the 'holy man' version of the far earlier hero's journey archetype by which such stories in Western literature are shaped. Including Zarathustra.
