It is a bit pathetic that we Brits didn't even manage to get the slavish aping of the Yanks right with the whole festive turkey thing.

It reminds me a little of the 'Ah don't hate the English. They're just wankers...' speech from Trainspotting, but swapping 'Scots' for 'Brits' and 'English' for 'Americans'.
