It is a lovely name - I remember being captivated by it in astronomy books when I was a kid (and kind of annoyed by the silliness of the film title Beetlejuice).

But the intended reference was to that line in Rutger Hauer's soliloquy at the end of Blade Runner, as the replicant's memories die with him.
