It really is a great option, if you steer clear of the seedier fish'n'chips'n'lager venues down the far end of Playa Levante. Great for pedestrians - or mobility scooters, as mentioned - and a fantastic winter climate for aching bones and joints. And because it's just round the corner of the headland, it faces due south despite being on the east coast, to make the most of the winter sun, with sheltering mountains all around. I was actually starting a book about the place when I got waylaid by Medium last year, so have been posting bits and pieces here.
