It's a tough decision right now - how long will stick-shifts even exist for? My eldest child turns 16 shortly, so 2 years until driving lessons come around. Is it even worth spending all those hours (at 20-25 euros a go, or whatever it might be now) to learn how to drive an antiquted museum piece that frankly should have died out years before EVs even became commonplace?

Or just go automatic, and if ever in a situation where no EV/automatic is available in the future, do without?
