Lucky underpants are essential - never change or wash them!

I have found with a couple of boosted pieces that they took a few days before the spike happened. I think that maybe the system queues them up based on topic, so if you have a travel piece boosted, and there are already a lot of travel pieces in the mix at that time, it may be a while before it kicks in, but should happen within a fortnight.
