My dad was deaf in one ear, and he always used to support this charity.
BTW, Susie, I saw an article recently on Mastodon about Guide Dogs for the Blind in the UK appealing for volunteers with face tattoos, piercings, bushy beards and other 'unusual' features to come and play with their puppies, as they had realised that the trained would sometimes act with aggression or confusion when faced with people whose appearance was unfamiliar, and so send false signals to their owners.
There might be an interesting story in that - assuming it wasn't fake. It wasn't on April 1st, but everything needs fact-checking these days. I just read it briefly.
