My favourite scent. Summer blooms in the still heat of a Mediterranean evening can prove overly cloying or penetrating. But oleander is such a soft aroma, as if it's been somehow dusted onto the air. Like brushing the fuzz of a peach with your nose.

The sight of bougainvillea and the scent of oleander make the Mediterranean for me.
