One of the most oddly universal practices I have come across in my travels around the world is the use of old metal-sprung bedframes to patch up a gap in fencing around a field, yard or allotment.

I remember once seeing a book of photography featuring nothing but goalposts around the world - in English village parks, South African townships, Brazilian favelas, spotlighting and contextualising the universality of football.

There should be a similar work for bedframe fencing.
