What's dispiriting is that if they rejig the formula in a month, say, all the stuff we have written in the next few weeks will have had its little peak of viewers under current conditions, and older stuff now seems to become dead and buried quite quickly and completely.

There's also an argument for a go-slow by all of us, so they see the impact on content input and realise they have to sort it out or lose their golden goose.
