Welcome to the Pleasuredome is certainly an odd concoction, presumably thanks to the dearth of material that the band had at their disposal, as well as the overactive imaginations of Trevor Horn and Paul Morley.

Barrett Strong's War also made a lot of sense as a cover in the context of Two Tribes, though including a B-side on an album is a bit of a cheat.

The Way to San José was a stranger choice.

The bizarre sleeve notes and implausible merch insert are another curio. ZTT had fun just mucking about with the Frankie project, I feel.

Interesting that Springsteen subsequently covered War as well.
