Thanks, Christine. Yes, fires just invite interaction. And I love the idea that when we poke a stick in a fire, we're performing the exact same act as our most ancient ancestors. Olive oil delights me in a similar way - one of the few products still made in exactly the same way as it was 3000 years ago. Get some olives, crush them with a big stone, collect the oil.

It's a direct taste of our past.
