Thanks for the input, Christine. I was also doing that -hence my overgrown list of Follows- but like I say, have since realised that there are lots of people in there whose stuff isn't really of interest to me.

Sure, I can just not read it, but I'd rather the algorithm didn't push it into my top slots, potentially concealing other stuff that I would like to read.

These days I tend to scan through a writer's titles at least, and ideally read an article if I have time, before deciding to follow back.

I must confess to being a bit fussy about anyone who mentions their religious beliefs in their mini-bio. It's not that I won't have anything to do with people of faith, just that if it counts as one of the top three things they feel the need to broadcast about themselves, that maybe suggests they take it a tad too in-your-face seriously.

Obviously dodgy politics is another no-no, though I haven't come across any MAGAts following me, strangely enough...
