It seems that Boadicea is the form used by the Romans - and as they say, history is written by the victors. Slight irony that the name actually means 'victorious woman'.
Boudicca would have been the name she was known by in her own Brythonic language.
But I figured that for this article - given the likely age of most readers here on Medium - it made more sense to use the version we old folk remember from our history books.
