Thanks, GS. Please do. It will be interesting to see whether the pieces which really appealed to me also strike a chord or arouse the interest of readers here, many of whom I think have broadly similar interests.
I also see this as a kind of experiment in how well the nomination scheme works/could work. These picks aren' meant for 'the widest possible appeal and highest read ratio' - they are very much personal choices. Which to me makes them more valuable in one sense - I'm not limiting myself in 'airline meal' mode to a lowest common denominator. But presumably also means there will be more 'misses' than 'hits'.
But who is right? Might it now be better to eliminate the curation greenlight and just let the audience decide which boost nominations prosper and which wither?
