Thanks, Maria - I'll add you now as well to the Iberospherical roster. How's the Boosting gone for you so far? I've seen a couple of strange decisions, but mostly feel it's playing out more or less as expected, having now refined my judgement a little. It's certainly helping the visitor numbers at the pub.

In case you are interested, I published a rather sprawling article with my initial impressions and some examples of pieces that had and hadn't been accepted by Curation over at All About M, which is where I post and read all my Medium meta articles:

https://medium.com/all-about-m/want-to-know-the-inside-secret-of-how-boosts-get-picked-yeah-me-too-01306c674431

It would be interesting to know if any of that tallies with your experience and impressions, if you have the time and inclination to read it.

Let's hope we can get some mutual exchange of writers, readers and tips between our two publications, and any others in a similar field. I really like the idea of seeing stories that go way deeper than the travelogues there are so many of on Medium and that seemed to be one of the favoured areas in the earlier Boost Pilot recruitments, so it's good to see Ariel bringing pubs like ours into the fold. I'm sure that Zivah Avraham will have some great stuff for you about the experience of being English and Jewish, living in rural Wales and learning the language.
