Thanks, May. I know it is possible, but it hasn't happened to me in over 12 months, and 350+ stories. Though maybe only two thirds of those were genuinely, seriously written with the belief that they might be of general interest.

My experience has been minimal reads for everything that isn't boosted - even now with over 2K 'followers', 50+ 'subscribers'.

So I now just write a few pieces a month for my favourite small boosting pubs, expecting to get a decent ratio of those boosted, and hence seen, plus a few housekeeping bits for my own pub, and the occasional oddity that amuses me, on The Pub or Pitfall. And meta pieces here.

That's enough to keep me occupied, but I expect nothing of any of them except the boosts. Which is fine, for the moment.
