Regarding 'bravo', I mentioned in another recent piece the inappropriateness of using the (supposedly) French expression 'Ooh la la' in Camila Cabello's Latin pop song Señorita, but that both 'bravo!' and 'chapeau!' are used in Spanish in their original languages as expressions of admiration. It's a funny old world!
