That shouldn't even be the slightest outside possibility, unless the chosen nominators are either completely stupid or completely dishonest. No AI story should ever get past the first gatekeeper of the human nominator who initiates the approval process.

If this comment implies that Medium's inhouse curation team are deploying means and procedures to weed out such content from the boost programme, then something has already gone badly wrong with the choice of nominators, who presumably would be on a 'three strikes and you're out' disciplinary regime.
