That would be my ranking as well, a rare case of the 3rd in a series being (narrowly) the best. I must confess that I would have to give a score of 'insufficient data' to the Crystal Skull, as I only managed to make it through the first 15 minutes or so before giving up.

Maybe the magic had died in me by then. Maybe it was just garbage.

I guess I will go to see the new offering with my 16-year-old son, for whom the films mean next to nothing. It will be interesting to see the impression it makes on his spotless mind.
