That's a tricky one. I guess that lab-grown meat (which sounds soooo icky, but...) might be a solution there, once it's commercially available and affordable. Maybe 5-10 years?

I had some vegan 'smoked salmon' the other day which I bought out of curiosity, and it was actually not bad. Though such substitutes don't resolve the issue of nutrient absorption, of course.
