The Gallaghers are wankers, and their lyrics (and music) are crap. This is true.
But this line, which is always brought up in evidence against them, I find quite justifiable.
I feel it's a valid poetic use of paradox, and could (no idea if it was meant to) serve as an effective description of the way that at times - in particular on drugs, as the context would suggest - one's body might be almost frozen while one's mind races uncontrollably.
Overall, though, I suspect their bogus argument would be 'Yeah, we're just like the Beatles, us. That 'I Am the Walrus'? It's all meaningless bollocks, right? Well so's our stuff. Fookin' genius.'
