There are a bunch of what I - somewhat long-windedly, I admit - refer to as the 'Panglossian Kool-Aid-drinking Stockholm-syndrome cheerleaders'.

I don't know if their motivation is naivety, desperation, shining an apple for teacher in the hope of better grades... But I stopped even reading their remarks some time ago.
