There was one substandard piece that Michael Burg flagged up a while back, and then a vacuous 'This is what happened after my article got boosted!' one that got boosted, and when challenged they said it 'was a mistake', that Janice Harayda mentioned. I think these 'mistakes' are happening because everything is being waved through - we're talking about 80 articles per week day being nommed. No one's reading them before rubber-stamping - they've already paid 45 bucks to the nommer, so why pay more in salary inhouse?
