There's a range of wines here in Spain, a sub-brand of the Vicente Gandia winery, called 'Con un par', or 'With a pair', which implies 'de cojones'. But the label instead features a pair of stiletto shoes.
I think the idea is that they are subverting the machista phrase with a cheeky feminist wink, that these stilettos will be delivering a skewering kick to the nether parts of the likes of your 'grow a pair' acquaintance.
But ultimately it fails, I think. The implication that women, as they do not have balls themselves, must therefore instead be ball-breakers to get ahead, seems to represent very little in the way of progress.
I've no idea what the wine itself is like. The label at least provokes reflection, but I don't want to encourage them into thinking they've solved sexism with a dubious bit of marketing, by actually buying the stuff.
