This is the great downside of signing up for a 4-year university course (aside from the massive debt, in barbaric countries like the USA and UK).

All the pressure is simply to go for what you know, what you think you are 'best' at. Then a few weeks/months into your first year you realise you are already bored of it, but feel too committed to the whole set-up to change.
